For departures during July and August, travelers will visit Signal Hill and enjoy an included lunch due to annual maintenance of the Table Mountain cable car.

Fly to Johannesburg this morning. Once you arrive, set out on a guided sightseeing tour of the Soweto township.

• Pass Vilakazi Street, once home to both Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu—both recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize
• Enter the Hector Pieterson Museum to learn about the 1976 Soweto uprising
