Welcome to England! Settle in to your hotel. Then, gather with your Tour Director and fellow group members for a mixer in the Shard, the United Kingdom’s tallest skyscraper which resembles a shard of glass. Enjoy panoramic, bird’s-eye views of the bustling capital city and try to spot St. Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and other well-known London landmarks. Then, get to know your group at tonight’s welcome dinner.
Day 3: Sightseeing tour of London

Join a local guide for a panoramic tour of London’s regal landmarks, soaking in centuries of history and culture along the way.
- Pass stately Trafalgar Square—a popular public square that’s surrounded by museums, galleries, and historic buildings—and St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Baroque-style Anglican cathedral atop Ludgate Hill whose history dates back to the seventh century.
- View icons like Big Ben and the London Eye, and marvel at the Tower of London, which has served as a royal palace and a prison and now houses the Crown Jewels.
- Walk through Covent Garden, a lively shopping and entertainment hub in London’s elegant and culturally rich West End.

Later this afternoon, join your fellow travelers for afternoon tea. The national pastime was introduced in Britain in the 19th century as a tea ritual and evolved as a light meal intended to quiet rumbling stomachs ahead of late dinners. Snack on finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and fresh pastries and cakes, and sip a warm cup (or cuppa, as locals casually say) of England’s national drink.

Day 5: Eurostar train ride to Paris & Montparnasse Tower

Make your way to St. Pancras International, a bustling railway station and shopping, dining, and cultural hub in central London. There, board a high-speed Eurostar train, which will whisk you under the English Channel and to Paris’ Gare du Nord station.
This evening, head to the Le Ciel de Paris restaurant in Montparnasse Tower, which soars more than 650 feet above the City of Light.
- Enjoy panoramic views of Paris’ skyline, as well as the Eiffel Tower’s blinking, twinkling, and dazzling light show.
- Sit down for an included dinner with panoramic views of Paris as your backdrop.

Day 6: Sightseeing tour of Paris

Meet up with a local guide, who will introduce you to the architecture, character, and history of the City of Light’s many neighborhoods, or arrondissements, and its most recognizable landmarks.
- Drive down the sycamore-lined Avenue des Champs-Élysées—a symbol of Paris that’s lined with majestic monuments, glitzy restaurants, and glamorous storefronts—and view the Arc de Triomphe
- Pass Pont Neuf—built in the 16th century, it’s the oldest stone bridge in Paris—and Notre-Dame Cathedral, which is situated on Île de la Cité, an island in the Seine River
- See the Eiffel Tower, the Palais Garnier opera house, and Place de la Concorde, the city’s grandest square
- Pass by the Louvre, with its iconic, I.M. Pei-designed glass pyramid, and marvel at the Hôtel National des Invalides, a 17th-century, gold-domed structure that’s staggering in its size and scale

Day 7: Flight to Rome & tour of the city’s highlights

Transfer to Paris’ airport for a flight to Rome, Italy’s historic capital city. Upon arriving in the Eternal City, take a guided walk to discover its beautiful, centuries-old squares and fountains.
- Stroll past the Spanish Steps, where Bernini’s Baroque-style fountain has stood since the 1600s, and head to the intricately carved Trevi Fountain, which was completed in the 18th century and is one of the world’s—certainly Rome’s—most famous fountains.
- Enjoy a gelato tasting before entering the Pantheon, a circular, columned former temple that’s topped by the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome.
- Learn about ancient Romans’ engineering skills and how they constructed this well-preserved temple, which was first built in 27 BC and completely rebuilt between 118 AD and 128 AD.
- End at Piazza Navona—the elegant public square’s unique, elongated shape is attributable to its location on the same site where the Stadium of Domitian once stood—and see the Fountain of the Four Rivers, a revered, 17th-century work by Bernini that was once a source of potable water for Romans.
